Trees, trees everywhere! From the driveway to directly behind the house, trees were located all around. The gutters were original to the home, which was 1980.  They were falling off the home due to the recent wind storm we had. Gutters, like everything else, have a lifetime. The older style and design of gutters, installing with nails rather than the new way with screws, has a shorter lifespan. It was time for replacement and time to address the gutter clogging and water flow issues.

The first step was to remove the old gutter system. After removal we check the fascia boards to make sure rotting has not occurred. Unfortunately, there were a few runs that needed to be replaced. In order to replace gutters, the wood has to be sound first. We replaced the wood and then started to hang the new 6". which are the larger size, gutters and 3x4 downspouts. The larger gutters will capture double the amount of water than the previous size. Paired with the MasterShield gutter protection, nothing will obstruct, clog, or overflow the system again.
