Our Process Case Studies: MasterShield installation on home in Washington, DC.

For this customer in Washington, DC., trees were his worst enemy.  Oak tassels, helicopters, and pine needles were all falling into the open gutters and clogging the gutters, as well as the underground drains.  He noticed the underground drains clogging when the water bubbled out where the input for the downspout was located above ground.

When we go to a customers home to evaluate the gutter system, we find the right solution to fix the problem.  The gutters were new and 5 inch gutters.  The good news is we could reuse the existing gutters and downspouts.  We gave them a tune up, which includes, cleaning, realigning, and resealing the corners.  The cleaning includes flushing out the underground drains.  This task was a little difficult, due to the amount of debris, but our crew was able to jar it loose.  Once the gutter system is up to our code, we installed the MasterShield system.  

The gutter system will now be maintenance free and the underground drains will now stay clean and clear!
